This May celebrate the return of spring in Downtown Charlottesville! Presented by Friends of Charlottesville Downtown.

Gnomes in Cville

Gnomes are loose on the Mall! Help find them all during the month of May and kick off Spring with a prize. Pick up your booklet at J Fenton Too, Magpie Knits, or download here (coming soon!).

Downtown Express

Saturdays starting May 2nd, 10am - 1pm, Central Place

Hop aboard the Downtown Express and take a spin around the Mall! Rides will be offered starting in Central Place on Saturdays starting May 2nd.

The train is weather dependent and will not run in inclement weather conditions. This page will be updated as well as our social media if such cancellations occur.

Art Connections

Art Connections is back for the fourth year on the Downtown Mall! Featuring artwork from K-12 art students in Charlottesville City Schools! The show will start April 17th at participating businesses.
