Curious what life was like in Albemarle County during the American Revolution? Local Albemarle residents of all backgrounds have their stories preserved at the Library of Virginia (LVA) via Legislative petitions and war service narratives of their war service — along with maps, wills, newspapers and other documents. LVA historian Eric Johnson will give an engaging history talk rooted in local firsthand accounts of the Revolutionary era. Light snacks provided.
