Come see VBA's oldest printing press in action! Our c.1890 Chandler & Price Platen press, currently housed at Rock Paper Scissors on Charlottesville's Downtown Mall, will get rolling from 1-3pm this Saturday.
Artist and C&P aficionado Lana Lambert will be treadling this press back into service, giving a demo and printing keepsakes for folks to take home. Come see first hand why this fine-turned piece of equipment churned out the majority of small printing jobs during the early 20th century.
Stop by Rock Paper Scissors this Saturday to see this historic press and its beautiful prints!
