Join Encyclopedia Virginia Managing Editor Patti Miller and Travis Shaw of the Virginia Piedmont Heritage Area to learn about the Revolutionary War prisoner-of-war camp that gave Barracks Road its name and served as home to thousands of British and Hessian POWs and their families following the Battle of Saratoga.
