Join us on April 20th, 2026, for a 45 minute Open House rehearsal with the Youth Orchestras of Central Virginia! Martin Luther King Performing Arts Center
1400 Melbourne, Charlottesville Va 22901

Youth Symphony is our advanced full-symphony orchestra founded in 1978. The ensemble consists of approximately 50-60 advanced musicians performing original orchestral masterworks. Youth Symphony is similar in ability level to Senior Regional Orchestra.

Parents interested in registering their musician for this free event can do by emailing our Executive Director James Tobin at James.Tobin@yocva.org. Registering your musician will allow us to send you music in advance as well as prepare the stage in the MLK PAC.
