Join us on April 20th, 2026, for a 45 minute Open House rehearsal with the Youth Orchestras of Central Virginia! Martin Luther King Performing Arts Center

The Evans Orchestra is our intermediate full-symphony orchestra founded in 1978. The ensemble consists of approximately 50-60 elementary, middle, and high, school musicians performing original and adapted orchestral masterworks. The Evans Orchestra is similar in ability level to the top ensemble at Junior Regional Orchestra.
Parents interested in registering their musician for this free event can do so be emailing our Executive Director, Jame Tobin at james.tobin@yocva.org. Registering your musician will allow us to send you music in advance as well as prepare the stage in the MLK PAC.
